Assisting members of the parish family to attain a deeper relationship with our Lord and with fellow parishioners through Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. Our ACTS retreat is a Catholic lay retreat presented by parishioners from St. Thomas Aquinas who have attended prior ACTS retreat. The retreat begins on Thursday evening and ends Sunday at the 11 AM Mass. Retreats for men and women are given separately. The retreat facilitates the attainment of a new or deeper relationship with the Lord through:
Adoration – Responding to God's love through prayer and worship
Community – Building parish community through love and care of each other as members of the Body of Christ
Theology – Deepening our understanding of God in order to better fulfill His will
Service – Answering the call to discipleship by following the model He gave us
The ACTS weekend brings the retreatants to a better understanding of God’s love for them and also develops their need to share that love with others through their involvement in a faith-centered parish community. The retreat is a powerful community-building experience that fosters our call to service in the parish community and in the world.
