Welcome to Aquinas Kids, the Pre-K(4) - 4th grade faith formation program,
at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish!
Parents will chose from One of Three Options for the 2020-21 Faith Formation Year.
In Person Classes - Students may chose to participate in on site classes on Sunday morning or Sunday afternoons. There will be no Wednesday classes in the Fall this year. Classes will be limited in number due to facility and social distancing restrictions.
Masks will be required for all children.
Social Distancing will be enforced as much as possible.
Cleaning guidelines will be followed.
Each child will need an individual set of materials. The list of materials will be provided at a TBD time once registration opens.
Virtual Classes - Students will participate in a virtual classroom utilizing Google Classroom and/or ZOOM that will include a weekly video lesson along with assignments to be completed at home. Students will be grouped by grade level.

Sundays from 10:00 - 10:50 AM
Sundays from 4:15 - 5:05 PM
Pre-Kindergarten - Children will receive weekly emails from Catechesis of the Good Shepherd catechists for At-Home Formation.
Kindergarten - 4th Grade - Chidlren will be put into a Virtual Class utilizing Google classroom and/or ZOOM for weekly catechesis.
At-Home Guide: If your child missed a class, you can easily go through the lesson with them at home. This At-Home Guide allows you to be able to work with the textbook in a fun and engaging way. Click here, then choose the Grade, the Unit, and the Session needed to complete.
Interactive session reviews: Each of the lessons for all grades Kinder-6th Grade offers an interactive session review (onlince quiz). Once you finish the session at home with your child, click here, then choose a Grade and look for Interactive Session Review. Once you finish, you can send the results to formation@stabcs.org, and we will know that you have completed the session at home.
Online game - Fishers of Faith: This online game reviews each of the Units. To access it, click here, then choose a Grade and look for Fishers of Faith.
Family e-newsletter: It's an Issue of Finding God curriculum with many interesting articles on how to live your faith out with your family. This e-newsletter comes in English and Spanish version.
