Parishioners are asked to start collecting items in preparation for the March 2009 Medical Mission trip to Guatemala. Last year, our team of 40 medical missionaries treated almost 3000 patients in the impoverished village of Tamahu, Guatemala. Items that are most needed include: vitamins (pre-natal, adult, children's & infant), Tylenol, Motrin, infant formula, plain Robitussin cough syrup, hydrocortisone cream, antifungal cream, eye drops, reading glasses, small toys, socks and travel-size soaps, shampoos and lotions. Cash donations are also greatly needed to purchase prescription medications. Items may be dropped off in the bin in the narthex or PAC any time; checks may be sent to the STA office. For any questions, please contact Michelle Aucoin at (979)-696-6423 or [email protected]. Thank you for your generosity!
