When you respond to the call to serve in a parish ministry, you are invited to share your gifts and to grow in your faith. The diocesan Regional Symphony of the Faith is an opportunity for you to deepen your understanding of your Catholic faith in order to live it more effectively within your family and parish family. By participating in the Regional Symphony of the Faith, you will be energized by the presence of other parish ministers, you will have an opportunity to connect with others, learn from them and share your experiences and you will benefit from attending workshop sessions to gain insights and knowledge about our faith. The theme is “Christ-centered Families: Growing in Holiness.” Many of the challenges we face in our culture have a negative effect on our families and those in parish ministry have a particular call and responsibility to support families, guiding them to be more Christ-centered. In addition, the Regional Symphony of the Faith will help you personally grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Regional Symphonies of the Faith will be:
• Sept. 26 at Holy Family Catholic School in Austin
• Oct. 10 at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in College Station
