Sons of Thunder Men's forum will be hosting it's first discussion session on Tuesday, March 3rd in RE rooms 44 and 46 from 7pm to 8:30 pm. Sessions will continue on Tuesdays throughout lent. Discussion topics will range from the roles of men in evangelization and vocations to the obstacles facing Catholic men in secular society. The program is free and there is no registration required. Sessions are hosted by Cornerstone youth ministry, but all men of the parish ages 12 and older are encouraged to attend.
Outline of Session Topics:
Tuesday, March 3rd 2009: "Born to Be Wild?!?!" What are the true desires of a man's heart, and what does it mean to be a man in God's truth?

Tuesday, March 10th 2009: "Am I My Brother's Keeper?" How do we, as men, effectively communicate and carry out our Christian responsibilities in our relationships, social lives and workplace? How do we encourage a deeper relationship with God in our children, spouses or girlfriends, and our friends?

Tuesday, March 31st 2009: "The Obedient Man" What is the true definition of obedience? How do we avoid our "manly" control issues, and allow God to lead us? Is there a middle ground between our plans and God's will?
