Requirements for STA Catechists
All catechists are required by Diocese of Austin to attend an EIM training (Ethics & Integrity in Ministry). This must be completed before the first class starts. For more info on EIM, click here.
It is also required to attend catechist training at the parish.
Catechetical formation oportunities
Diocesan Office of Catechesis provides for all catechists "Catechist Certification Program" in both theology and methodology.
