"My Heart overflows with great mercy for souls, and especially for poor sinners…[I]t is for them that the Blood and Water flowed from My Heart as from a fount overflowing with mercy. For them I dwell in the tabernacle as King of Mercy." (Diary, 367)
What is a Divine Mercy Cenacle?
The Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy (EADM) or (Divine Mercy Cenacle) is a lay outreach of the Association of Marian Helpers of the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
The Cenacle is a combination of a prayer group, Bible study and service organization formed to have fellowship, deepen our Catholic faith and knowledge of the Divine Mercy message through the Diary of St. Faustina, share our struggles and joys in applying the message to life in our family and workplace, and to live out our faith together by performing the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
What do we do?
We meet as a small group twice a month to learn, in depth, about the unfathomable love and mercy our Lord Jesus has for each of us and our Church as revealed to St. Faustina. A facilitator guides the group through a lesson plan provided in one of three Cenacle Manuals which includes studying the Diary of Saint Faustina Kowalska, Sacred Scripture, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Together pray for our intentions in the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and are under the spiritual guidance of an Ordained Deacon of our parish.
