Ministry Description: The mission of the Emergency Management Committee is to provide Saint Thomas Aquinas Church with an Emergency Management Committee, to preserve and protect the safety of parishioners, staff, students, CDC, visitors and campus community against anticipated natural and unexpected man-made hazards.
The Emergency Management Committee (EMC), with the guidance of Father Albert, shall assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive All-Hazards emergency management plan. The EMC shall develop, publish and serve as custodian of the Saint Thomas Catholic Church's site-specific "All-Hazards Emergency Operations Plan". The EMC may form sub-committees, working groups, teams, etc., as appropriate, to assist in the overall mission of the committee. Examples include but not limited to: Training, Safety, Medical Response, Severe Weather, Parish Festival Safety, etc.
