Registration for the 2023-24 Family Formation Year is open: however, only select times are available depending on your child's grade. Please email Darren at formation@stabcs.org to request the registration link and what session times are available.
Family Formation will further equip parents with the tools in order to be the primary catechists for their children along with give parents the opportunity to meet and to learn from other parents on how to build up their own domestic churches!
Once per month, parents (at least one) and children will meet at the parish for separate catechesis. Parents will meet in the PAC for a time of Adult Formation and Connection with other families while their children go to grade level classes.
For the remaining weeks of the month, parents will lead the lessons at thome with their children - One lesson per week for the entire family!
Children, ages Kindergarten - 4th Grade, will complete the same lesson together at the chosen time of the family.
The beauty of this program is that families can chose what time is best for them and complete the lesson together.
A Typical Month will look like this:
Week One: Parents and Children gather at parish for formation during chosen time.
Weeks Two, Three, & Four: Parents cover Home Lessons each week with children.
Check out the Frequently Asked Questions Page or email Darren with any other questions!
During registration, you will chose one of the following times for the In Person sessions. During these In Person sessions, at least one parent will attend the Parent Session in the PAC while the children attend their grade level classes.
Sunday Mornings from 9:50- 10:50 AM
Sunday Afternoons from 3:15 - 4:15 PM
Wednesday Evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 PM
