Funeral/Death Notice

Praying for souls is a beautiful way the Church addresses the pain that occurs at the loss of a loved one. When a loved one passes, we would like to support you as a community whether the funeral is held here or elsewhere. How do we provide that support?
At the death of a loved one, we 

• include an immediate family member in the following weekends' prayers of the faithful,
• host the funeral mass and reception,
• provide deacons for the rosary, vigil service, and graveside internment.
• provide music and cantors (due to time constraints for practice, we cannot accomodate outside musicians).
• and have the prayer chain ministry pray for them.

Due to the number of activities that occur on the weekend and the need to clean the campus on Monday,   we are unable to accomodate funerals on Sundays nor Mondays.  

Additionally, we can provide you support with

• a Stephen Minister,
• by sharing grief resources,
• and grief support groups.

When a loved one dies, please contact the funeral home, and we will work in coordination with you and them to schedule a time.
