Catholic Singer-Songwriter to Perform

Acclaimed Catholic singer-songwriter, Annie Karto, will share her talents and story at two STA events in May. On Friday, May 7^th from 7:00-9:00 pm, Karto will sing and pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with the STA Divine Mercy Cenacle. This event is free, but donations are accepted.

Consecrating her music ministry to Our Blessed Mother, Karto has won a Catholic unity award for her song “Overshadow Me,” and an international award at a Marian concert for her song, “I Am Yours.” In this the Year of the Priest 2009-2010, she has written a song, “You Are a Priest Forever.” She inspires audiences with her testimony and music, rooted in her love for Our Blessed Mother, Divine Mercy, Eucharistic Adoration and the Priesthood.

On Saturday, May 8^th, she will be the featured speaker and performer at Our Lady's Brunch: Walking in Mary's Footsteps....Becoming Women of Virtue, from 9:30 am to Noon. This 5^th Annual event is open to all women ages 7 and up. Reservations are required for the catered event. The deadline is Tuesday, May 4^th and tickets may be purchased through the church office. The cost is $16 per person.

Our Lady's Brunch is a uniquely beautiful event in which ladies serve as hostesses and decorate tables with their own silver, china and centerpiece on a Marian theme. Each table is named in honor of one of Mary's titles, "Refuge of Sinners, "Mother of Our Savior," "Tower of Ivory," etc. If anyone would like to hostess a table contact Debbie Deitering at 690-0673 or [email protected].
